Every player in the world is dealt the identical six hands each day — the same words, the same clues, the same prices. Hands are four, five or six letters. A daily runs until midnight UTC; standings close at 23:59:59 UTC and six new hands are dealt for the new day. It is free, it takes about five minutes, and it costs no stars — there is nothing you could buy that would move you up its board.
The board ranks decisions. It scores what you cracked, what you held as setter, and which calls you were right to refuse. Everyone faced the same six problems in the same order, so a standing is a comparison of choices and nothing else.
| Place | Stars | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| First on the daily board | 3,000 stars | Daily |
| Second | 1,500 stars | Daily |
| Third | 750 stars | Daily |
Stars are a score. They buy cosmetic looks — felts, tiles, card backs — and nothing else. They cannot be bought with money, cannot be cashed out, cannot be traded, and cannot improve a placing on any board. We may adjust a balance to correct a bug or to reverse abuse.
Power-ups are earned in play. They are never sold, so nobody arrives at a table holding more than you could have earned yourself.
One run per device per day, and the first run is the one that stands. Finish it or bust it — either way, that was your day. Reinstalling, clearing storage or opening a second browser does not buy a second attempt at the board.
A finished run is re-scored on the server from the decisions that produced it. Nothing accepts a score as an input: the only thing your device can send is the play, and the number comes back out of it. A run that does not re-score to what it claims does not stand.
Your handle appears on a public board, so choose one you would be happy to see there. Handles that impersonate someone, advertise, or are abusive are refused, and any that get through are removed.
Bots, scripts, solvers driving the board, and any tampering with the daily deal void the run. Do it repeatedly and you lose access to the board.
If a technical fault or tampering compromises a day, we may void that day's standings, and we will say so rather than quietly restate the numbers. If something looks wrong to you, write to support@webluff.com with your handle and the date.
